Physical and chemical properties: white powder solid, self accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT) 50 ℃, easy to explode when heated, insoluble in water, soluble in acetone, chloroform and other organic solvents and mineral oils, and will react violently when contacting with reducing agents, accelerants, organics, combustibles, etc., with the risk of burning and explosion.

Main uses: used for (co) polymerization of styrene, ethylene, vinyl chloride, acrylate and methacrylate. It is often used in combination with initiator (di-tert-butyl peroxide).
